Tammy Pilon
Port Coquitlam, British Columbia
Tammy grew up in Comox on Vancouver Island and moved to the Vancouver area to attend Capilano University to study art. Tammy worked as a graphic artist before she began her career as an art instructor. For over 30 years she has been a popular art teacher and now offers private classes and workshops in all media at her Port Coquitlam studio called Poco Art Studio.
Tammy’s style varies and she is as comfortable painting realism as she is impressionism and abstraction. The love of light on the land has always been a strong inspiration in her dramatic landscapes in watercolour, acrylic and impressionistic oil paintings.
Her abstracts include watercolour on paper, water media on yupo and mixed media.

Practicing my art gives me an opportunity to come to the quiet centre where something greater than myself can work through me.
