About the Artwork
This abstract piece was inspired by a photo that I took while paddle boarding under a dock admiring the algae covered aged wood with it’s barnacles and patterning rivets. I use objects to duplicate textures such as the end of a cork used for the rivets and a sponge used to make the barnacles.
