About the Artwork

Jury item #1: I have visited the Oregon coast three times during my life and always it has been cloudy or stormy but those clouds I have discovered are what makes for beautiful sunsets. This view depicts the iconic haystack rocks of Cannon Beach. The little birds on the sand looking for snacks as the waves roll away. This is a traditional watercolour done on Arches paper.
