I painted this scene using a palette knife to create a textured application of paint which complemented the wild and untamed nature of the British Columbia landscape. The scene is characterized by a stormy ambiance, a rushing river and the vibrant colours of the autumn foliage, all contributing to the overall rugged aesthetic I was aiming to capture.
