Painting cityscapes is not my usual subject however I do like the challenge of trying to figure out the best way to render each texture of the buildings. I used many different techniques to create the illusion of the scene. Although I enjoyed painting this piece I am usually more in pursuit of a looser approach that expresses how I feel.
