Crisis

A response to the demand we were seeing from artists, the intention behind "Crisis" is to raise awareness and encourage discussion about issues that are currently impacting our planet. Artists are being asked to submit artwork that directly tackles the problematic and sometimes uncomfortable truths that our current behaviours and sometimes inaction, can cause. Art is one of the most universal ways to explore, discuss and comment upon the big topic issues that impact our lives, and can be a catalyst for social change. In this exhibition, we welcome artists to submit works that comment on our current environmental challenges. The purpose of this exhibition is to further educate our visitors about changes in our environment and to encourage discussion around these issues. Works that inspire awareness, action and change. The Federation proudly supports the David Suzuki Foundation for this exhibition. All donations made by visitors to the exhibition between October 5th - 18th will go towards the Foundation.
