Eileen Harder

Eileen Harder is a local lower mainland artist, situated near Vancouver. She has been painting and teaching painting techniques for many years. Eileen particularly enjoy loose realism, and loves the energy it gives to the painting. The painters that have influenced her are Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Manet, Bertha Morisot and Mary Cassatt, just to name a few.
Eileen likes to add a sense of drama with her use of tonal values, striking light and darks and remaining in a low key value.
