About the Artwork
What is left of the Boreal forest region in the Yukon Territories which is warming
twices as fast as other parts of the world,
thawing the permafrost and killing the black
spruce. This was painted during my residency at Ted Harrsion Cabin.

I paint what I love - landscapes and skyscapes in watercolour, outdoors on location or from reference photos from places I have explored.
My watercolour work is about the feeling of having been there, recapturing the experience and rekindling the memory of a special place.
