ASIZA

ASIZA is a Romanian artist based in Vancouver, Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Her paintings are inspired by her intensely personal and heart-breaking experience of being separated from her twin sister for forty-seven years. Since their meeting and reunion in 2014, ASIZA describes her artistic expression as has having evolved, featuring bolder layers of color and texture. Her bold compositions are created using acrylics on canvas or paper.
