After retiring from a fulfilling 40-year business career, Myriam embraced art to further explore her creative spirit. Self-taught and continually evolving, her earlier works were inspired by the contrasting landscapes of British Columbia’s coast and Alberta’s boreal forest, where she resides throughout the year. Her vibrant acrylic mixed media and collage pieces combine colour, texture, and story, blending spontaneity with design to express her imaginative perspective on nature and abstraction. Recently, her art has deepened to explore the intersection of nature’s fleeting wonders and life’s ephemerality—a continual dance of emergence, transformation, and impermanence.
