This whimsical artwork is perfect for your kitchen or dinette, and is essentially 'painting with paper". Created from unique collage papers based on combinations of acrylic inks, alcohol and/or high fluid acrylic paint, the papers become the main medium for composing, rather than the direct application of paint. I love the spontaneous and organic patterns that emerge from this process. Each collage paper is unique, and achieving such a design that would be almost impossible to create deliberately. I started with the bowl, and then played to create a fun design that made use of other unique collage papers, which repeat in various ways in the composition. The notes used for the second Ramen noodle, and which are repeated in the bowl decoration and base, helped inspired the title: "Ramen Rhapsody".
