There is a language here, if you’re willing to slow down for it.
Four vertical panels, each built like a page from a found manuscript — layers of gesture, torn fragment, and colour gathered over time into marks that read like script without resolving into words. The alphabet came first: years of studio sketches, gestural experiments, and collage remnants carried across seasons of making. Then the grammar — repeating bands of colour moving like punctuation through each panel, shaping rhythm and marking pause.
The central passages are the densest — layered fragments from earlier works, carried forward, broken apart, and reassembled. Here, the surface feels most compressed, most alive. Each panel becomes a movement in a larger score — related but distinct, the way a melody returns transformed.
Together, the four form a unified presence; apart, each remains an intimate strand of script: fragments of thought, memory, and motion held in colour and texture.
The invitation is not to decode, but to dwell. Move between the panels as you would a poem — pausing, returning, letting cadence arrive before meaning. What accumulates is something you may recognize: the beautifully imperfect residue of a life kept in motion.

Myriam Laberge’s acrylic and mixed media artworks combine colour, texture, and story, blending spontaneity with design to express her imaginative perspective on nature and abstraction. I work with acrylic, collage, and mixed media, weaving textured abstraction, symbolic pattern, and expressive gesture.
"My artworks are visual stories of the beauty, surprise, and emotion I find in nature, memory, and the human experience."
