About the Artwork

Threaded with Violet Light explores what can be sensed but not always seen. Violet, long associated with intuition, transformation, and the unseen, shimmers subtly among luminous turquoise and quiet earth tones. Both peaceful and quietly alive, the painting hints at what lies just beyond ordinary perception, the unseen connections, intuitions, and moments of recognition that sometimes illuminate our lives. As the light changes, new details emerge, suggesting mystery woven through the ordinary.

Myriam Laberge, AFCA

Delta, British Columbia

Myriam Laberge’s acrylic and mixed media artworks combine colour, texture, and story, blending spontaneity with design to express her imaginative perspective on nature and abstraction. I work with acrylic, collage, and mixed media, weaving textured abstraction, symbolic pattern, and expressive gesture.

"My artworks are visual stories of the beauty, surprise, and emotion I find in nature, memory, and the human experience."
