Anna M Cullen (she/her) is a Canadian artist living in Kitimat, British Columbia. She thankful to currently work, play, and create on the traditional unceded territories of the x̣àʼisla w̓áwís (Haisla) people. She works primarily with acrylic mediums, mixed media, and linocut relief printing.
To Anna M Cullen, art is personal. It’s an opportunity to share her individual human experience through a creative lens. Her work is inspired by the wonder of ordinary moments and strives to reimagine them on the canvas with bold colours and whimsicality. Over her artistic career, she has experimented with several styles and inspirations but finds that her best work resonates from her role as a mother, a teacher, and a feminist.
