There's nothing like stirring in a sugar cube into your cup of tea to make you feel fancy. And in recent economic times, where the fancier things feel a little more out of reach for so many, it can be a simple and welcome escape from the everyday. This contemporary still life piece features my own sugar bowl and my great-grandmother's pearl necklace.
