“Some say the world will end in fire. Some say in ice…” — Robert Frost
(Honourable Mention Award) Fire and Ice embodies the tension at the heart of Frost’s words—desire and destruction, passion and restraint. Fierce reds burn against glacial blues, each staking their claim across a fractured terrain. The textured surfaces shimmer with contrasts—heat and cold, light and shadow, harmony and discord—pulling the viewer into a shifting field of energy. Marks, scrapes, and layered gestures suggest both eruption and erosion, as if the canvas itself were caught between ignition and silence.

Myriam Laberge’s acrylic and mixed media artworks combine colour, texture, and story, blending spontaneity with design to express her imaginative perspective on nature and abstraction. I work with acrylic, collage, and mixed media, weaving textured abstraction, symbolic pattern, and expressive gesture.
"My artworks are visual stories of the beauty, surprise, and emotion I find in nature, memory, and the human experience."
