From above, the land tells its own story. The fields of my prairie childhood, stitched together in shades of yellow canola, green, and flax blue gave me an early sense of how earth itself is a patchwork—shaped by weather, memory, and time. Beneath the wide sky, the landscape seemed both infinite and intimate, a living quilt of resilience and change.
Patchwork Earth draws on that memory of looking down at the land and feeling both wonder and belonging. The two panels carry different moods: one vibrant and full of contrast, the other hushed as though veiled in mist. Layer upon
