Walking the trails of Boundary Bay, Mount Baker often glows in the distance — a quiet sentinel beyond the tidal marshes. Yet my gaze is usually drawn closer, to the shifting grasses, glints of water, and the wild textures of the shoreline. Baker at Boundary Bay captures that layered experience: the meeting of near and far, movement and stillness. Created with acrylic and ink on paper, the work blends expressive mark-making with luminous colour to evoke both the grounded beauty of the bay and the mountain’s serene presence on the horizon.

Myriam Laberge’s acrylic and mixed media artworks combine colour, texture, and story, blending spontaneity with design to express her imaginative perspective on nature and abstraction. I work with acrylic, collage, and mixed media, weaving textured abstraction, symbolic pattern, and expressive gesture.
"My artworks are visual stories of the beauty, surprise, and emotion I find in nature, memory, and the human experience."
