Grape Expectations is inspired by the ever evolving vine wrapping itself along my back patio. It is such a joy to watch the stages of growth from the first buds to the glorious ripening process which takes place behind the protective leaves, and the long-awaited fall harvest. I am mesmerized by the variations in colour and light which impels me to paint.

Michelle Brown's creative journey began in early childhood, shaped by a rare throat disorder that made art her primary communication. From those formative years, she developed a deep appreciation for visual expression, leading to art lessons at the age of 10 and later pursuing art education at the university level.
"Delicate petals, bursts of vibrant colour, majestic mountains, and quirky animals - these wonders drive me to paint. Each day in my growing garden, family hikes, and scenic travels brings something new that inspires me."
