Literally, the poor slug still has a long painful journey over the rocks and crevices in the hot sun. Personally, the rocks were inspired by ones found on a walk in Palm Springs right before being forced home due to covid and border closures. It was a long and unexpected journey back home for me, where I found sluggy on a trail struggling with what seemed like a similar journey.

Michelle Brown's creative journey began in early childhood, shaped by a rare throat disorder that made art her primary communication. From those formative years, she developed a deep appreciation for visual expression, leading to art lessons at the age of 10 and later pursuing art education at the university level.
"Delicate petals, bursts of vibrant colour, majestic mountains, and quirky animals - these wonders drive me to paint. Each day in my growing garden, family hikes, and scenic travels brings something new that inspires me."
