About the Artwork
The beauty of these unusual peony-like roses caught my attention as my daughter flitted all around the rose garden at Stanley Park in Vancouver. So many extraordinary flowers, but these ones, in various stages of opening, kept my fascination and peaked my desire to attempt to recreate their movement and delicate beauty unfolding.
