Every Autumn, swans migrate and spend the winter in a flooded field behind the Red Barn Market on West Saanich Road on Southern Vancouver Island.
On Winter nights when the moon is bright, or when your car headlights catch them, they seem to glow against the dark water.
I have tried to capture that lovely mystical light in this simple composition of three of the swans with only the dark background and transparency of the water.
