These three white boats are part of a Rotating display at the Cowichan Bay Maritime museum. They have been restored by The Cowichan Wooden Boat Society. This is a non-profit organization founded to preserve pacific maritime heritage, especially that of locally made wooden boats. These small boats were the foundation of a rich and colourful artisan boat building industry in coastal B.C. and can still be seen in many of the maritime areas around the Salish Sea.
