About the Artwork
The glorious colour and extravagant shape of this woman and her hat grabbed my attention in a manner that I can only think of as a new interpretation of "the butterfly effect". I chose to eliminate the busy Cape Town background behind her and place her in front of a flat plane of garden greens to further emphasize her form.
