After a tempest rolled over the coastline, the underwater gravel and sands have been upturned and the nutrients dispersed in the tide. This brings small fish into shallows and alcoves of the rocky shoreline to the awaiting heron on the beach. He awaits his dinner and watches the sun set in the west, over the calming seas.

"I love to capture the serenity of nature. So the viewer can feel the emotions of places less seen in everyday life. Whether it’s a tenacious grizzly chasing salmon, or a lounging deer in a cool shadowy forest. I want people to feel what I do when I paint."
