Renee Pupetz is a self taught artist living in beautiful Coquitlam BC. She is inspired by the natural world and is surrounded by mountains, creeks , beaches and wildlife; which are often the subjects in her paintings. Her Artwork tends to lean toward the untraditional and her artwork has been called "dynamic", "bold", "original" and" engaging." She works with various mediums, favouring watercolour and other fluid arts. She invites the viewer into her colourful world to challenge or explore how we perceive nature and its interconnectedness; uncovering what lies beneath the surface. Truth and authenticity are a priority in her work and there is often an ecological theme to many of her paintings.
