This landscape painting was inspired by my recent meanderings at Old Orchard Park in Port Moody BC. I came up upon these two birch trees along the ocean, looking as though they were leaning over to catch a better glimpse of the sea. There was an almost celebratory dance to their postures, as if the sun was also joining in.
Recognized in the 2026 Landscapes Exhibition as well as exhibited for the summer 2026 Curated Collection.
