The inspiration for this sunny, joyful watercolour is from 'Scott Creek', a hidden gem near my home in Coquitlam, BC. This creek is also part of the salmon run that travels through a network of other rivers and streams that runs down to the Pacific Ocean. It's where I've taken myself and my children for many years to learn about the cycles of nature, and gather inspiration for our personal and creative journeys. This is the creekside, a place across the stream that I often gaze in wonderment, at its magical, 'sun spun' beauty.
