Jennifer Caie SCA AFCA
Dryden, Ontario
Jennifer Caie began painting at age sixteen. Raised on the Prairies, Canadian wildflowers were her muse at first, but her vision grew to include forests, shorelines, and wild places. She lives in Dryden, Ontario.
Work carried her family all over Northern Canada. The art world seemed far away, but that all changed in 2016. Moving south, this full time artist began accessing shows throughout NW Ontario. In 2021, she received Elected Member, Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), and Active Member, Federation of Canadian Artists. In April 2022, received her AFCA.
Caie spends time each day on the trails and in her studio. The connection of wind, water, and earth are brought together in her work, and the tension of contrasts.

"On the water, or in the water”
This should be written on the transom over every one of our doors!
I do appreciate water in every form, whether frozen or fluid.
