"A Hazy Day" was inspired while snowshoeing on a backroad trail. These roads aren’t plowed during the snowy seasons, making them ideal for snowshoeing. Moisture hangs in the air with the cold snap, creating the haze.

The Canadian wild places are Jennifer Caie's subjects in painting. Her artwork is created as a direct result of time spent in Ontario's wilderness. She also finds a deep connection while hiking the Canadian coastal regions. “Really anything that reveals the effect of wind on the land."
