I paint landscapes because I am passionate about nature. My family has lived on the BC coast for five generations. My roots here have inspired me from a young age to explore and cherish our amazing coastline. I paint outside “en plein air” wherever I travel and in my home studio on Hammond Bay, Vancouver Island. My art has won awards in both Canada and in the USA, where I spend my winters hiking and painting the desert canyons of Arizona.
I have a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from UBC, signature status AFCA, and continue to learn from the many accomplished artists I admire here and abroad.
