During the annual salmon run that I witnessed last fall in Thompson Sound, a grizzly surged through the river, sending white water flying. I wanted to capture that fleeting collision of power and movement—wildlife and water responding to one another in a single explosive moment.

As a BC landscape and plein air artist, my passion is capturing our beautiful west coast on canvas. I was raised on the Gulf Islands and completed my Masters of Fine Arts at UBC. My inspiration is the way light plays on the land and reflects in the water.
"Nature has always been there for me…for all of us, if we take the time to appreciate her gifts. I am passionate about preserving and capturing on canvas these moments in time so that others can also enjoy and be inspired."
