Inspired by Shack Island in Nanaimo’s Hammond Bay, I was drawn to the changing tide and the last warm light moving across the water. The shifting reflections create a quiet pathway toward this much-loved piece of Nanaimo’s shoreline.

As a BC landscape and plein air artist, my passion is capturing our beautiful west coast on canvas. I was raised on the Gulf Islands and completed my Masters of Fine Arts at UBC. My inspiration is the way light plays on the land and reflects in the water.
"Nature has always been there for me…for all of us, if we take the time to appreciate her gifts. I am passionate about preserving and capturing on canvas these moments in time so that others can also enjoy and be inspired."
