The play of light upon land and water always inspires me whenever I paint. This scene is a relatively unknown urban oasis in Vancouver’s busy Lower Mainland. What foresight it takes to preserve our parkland. We need to protect these areas now and for the generations ahead… they offer us the gift of serenity.

As a BC landscape and plein air artist, my passion is capturing our beautiful west coast on canvas. I was raised on the Gulf Islands and completed my Masters of Fine Arts at UBC. My inspiration is the way light plays on the land and reflects in the water.
"Nature has always been there for me…for all of us, if we take the time to appreciate her gifts. I am passionate about preserving and capturing on canvas these moments in time so that others can also enjoy and be inspired."
