With a background as an event/prop designer, Edmonton artist Jori Warren has worked with the entertainment and corporate world creating large scale events from concept drawings, fabrication to set-up, most of her adult life. Jori stepped away to purse what she loves best; visual arts and for the last 15 years has done just that. As a self-taught artist, she has developed a diverse contemporary realism style that delights in the detail, hoping to capture a new appreciation of that everyday object by magnifying its simple brilliance with scale, color and light. With her company JORIGINALS; Where Art and Innovation Meet, Jori uses creativity, a good work ethic and strong commitment to her craft to continue her artistic journey.
