Suzanne Sandboe is an award winning artist who is a Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Alberta Society of Artists. She works primarily in acrylic and watercolour using bold color and a signature style. Her work is best described as atmospheric and nostaligic yet grounded in realism. Landscape is the primary subject matter and often includes objects in the environment, figurative and historical images. Her paintings are said to portray a tranquil, peaceful and reflective feeling loosely painted with warmth, romance and atmosphere drawing the viewer not only to another place but to another time presenting not only a scene but a memory.
