About the Artwork

Painterly brushstrokes capture the rugged beauty of the Alaskan mountains with rich warm colors of copper and gold reflecting the deposits of these minerals in her majestic landscape. The snow covered peaks reflect below in her glacial ponds along the eastern Alaskan range which extends from the Copper River to the St. Elias National Park and Preserve near the Yukon border.
