About the Artwork

In the early morning hours, mist rises from the landscape as the first rays of morning sun light upon the cool earth. A quiet hush is in the air and slowly the sleeping landscape comes to life in all its brilliance. This is the time of day when a quiet walk is most enjoyed along the fields edge where you might spot a family of deer and hear the chirping of the morning song birds. This image is painted with rich warm colors and a misty atmosphere depicting the start of a day on my family farm.
