Every spring, my lakeside neighborhood becomes home to new families of Canada geese, a heartwarming sign of the season’s renewal. "Family" is a watercolor painting inspired by these annual visitors, blending imagination with the reality of moments captured in photographs last spring. This serene water scene portrays the nurturing bond of parent geese guiding their goslings, set against a tranquil backdrop of rippling water and soft natural light. A celebration of togetherness, nature’s cycles, and the quiet beauty of life’s tender connections.

My work begins with memory and lived experience, filtered through shifting psychological narratives. I embrace the unpredictability of life, using chaos and form as raw material for compositions that reflect the hidden structures, both personal and societal, that shape who we are and how we see the world.
"I paint at the edge of chaos and form, searching for the hidden structures of the self."
