A whimsical watercolor painting of my neighbors' basset hound, Libby, reimagined in quiet blues to capture the quiet sophistication and unconventional beauty of this lovable breed. I wished to capture the mystery and energy of late-night moments when the world feels still and only a mystery howl breaks the silence. In my world, that howl predictably belongs to majestic Libby, sitting on the driveway or in her the backyard.

My work is rooted in memory and lived experience. I build images that shift between presence and fragmentation, allowing instability to remain visible. Rather than fixing form, I let it emerge and adjust through process, guided more by perception and emotional atmosphere than by narrative clarity.
"I paint in the space between chaos and structure, where images are built, unsettled, and continually renegotiated."
