LIVE JURY #3
I was surprised to find out how many people love to fish. Curious about this, I asked several men and women about what draws them to this solitary pursuit, and their answers were a revelation. I found that there is tremendous peace in the waiting. There is harmony in being a quiet participant in the natural world. There is power in the economy of action; and there is a perfect place of equilibrium balanced just between the holding on and the letting go. I discovered that the most significant part of fishing has nothing at all to do with the fish.
