When the forest is quiet, and the morning sun begins to filter through the fragrant mountain fog; when the birds are still wrapped in feathered slumber and the dew from the trees' nocturnal trembling falls like cool crystal beads...that's the time to silently pedal through stands of cedar and groves of fern fronds. The cold breeze feels alive on my face. I am in the company of nature's vibrant energy, my body is bold and true...and my spirit takes flight.
