Things that persist, that have survived from the past, bear the evidence that they've been useful, purposeful and loved throughout their long existence. Dents, scratches, discolourations and the occasional hole are not imperfections then, but rather are marks of accomplishment. To save these objects, treasure them, and find a new way for them to be useful is to honour a legacy...however small it may be. They have stories to tell, and those stories live on when we choose to celebrate utility, longevity and creativity!
