About the Artwork
The magnificence of the light being reflected from the flesh of this young man entices us to want to touch and feel his warmth, strength and vitality. It is innocent yet forbidden to want to touch someone you do not know, whose face you can not see, yet we are drawn to do it. We hunger for touch and wither without it.
