About the Artwork

The chaos and beauty of a snow day in Vancouver is felt along the Stanley Park causeway where a stream of cars, buses and glowing lights slowly wind their way, while massive, wet flakes descend and wipers beat hard. The city, paralyzed. This painting pulled me through a dreamlike landscape connecting me to the deep sense of place of these unceded lands.
