About the Artwork

For this work, I made a plaster cast of my foot that became the background for the painting. Reminiscent of ancient human footprints while referencing archaeological paster impressions, I wanted to draw attention to the lasting damage of human activity on the planet. Nothing goes unnoticed, even the mycelium inform the forest life of our presence. What impression do we create?
