“Ancient Spirits” to me, is about two worlds. Above the ground is what is visible, palpable, manifested and underground is what is hidden, unmanifested and invisible. Both are real, they co-exist and complement each other.

“Ancient Spirits” is part of my series titled “Love Always Falls Back On Its Feet”. In each painting I deconstruct the word L-O-V-E into lines and circles in various configurations. Yet, as the “E” of love lands at the bottom right of each painting, with constancy and stability, it reminds us that “love prevails”, making this series a positive response to our challenging times.
