About the Artwork

Today the practice of using a cradle board is still popular in many parts of the world. This old tradition is updated to a new world with strawberry shortcake blanket, denim swaddle and a soother. At first the 2 worlds are not as evident until your mind connects the meaning of the title of this painting.
