About the Artwork
This painting depicts one of my favorite subjects: wetlands. Since early childhood, I have been fascinated by this important part of the ecosystem. Wetlands provide an amazing habitat for a variety of life forms and create a natural filter for clean water. I painted it based on many hikes to the local rainforest, which I got to know intimately over the years.
