Wild natural areas are important to prevent species habitat loss and a great opportunity for pollinating insects to play amongst a variety of flowers. In this painting, I wished to capture the beauty of a field that was left for park land close to my home. Ideally, a happy celebration like this scene, can further be encouraged by supporting native plants to help our local insects as they navigate in our changing climate.
